FROZEN PUMPKIN DOG POPSICLES – DIY DOG Icecream Frozen Treats- a tutorial by Cooking For Dogs

Pumpkin Ice Pops – the perfect way to get your pup to eat his vegetables – in an ice cream! Cool treat for a hot day.
(Yields approx 24 ICE CUBE size pops)
1 (15oz) cans unsweetened pumpkin or cooked mashed pumpkin
1 cups plain live yogurt
Directions:
1/ Place the pumpkin and yoghurt in a large mixing bowl.
2/ Stir until well combined
3/ Pour into 18 standard muffin cups or ice cube trays and freeze
Store in sealed containers of zipper lock bags. Pumpkin pops will keep for 12 months in freezer.

Wooden spoon
Large mixing bowl
Nutrition Tips:
Can be made with ripe bananas, pureed pumpkin, cooked lentils, grated carrots, carob chips, apple juice, apple sauce, vegan burger crumbles. Use standard muffin pan for larger dogs or mini muffin pan for small dogs.
Treats: Healthy and inexpensive. Treat should be nutritious, low calorie or both.
